Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ben Dempsey #6248 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Sharp pace in a very short speed-zone effort Ben covered 0.30 km in 1:12, which works out to 3:57/km. He ranked 392nd of 5,624 overall, placing him in the top 7.0% of the field. Among men, he was 224th, and he placed 45th in the male 1825 category. He also recorded 13 passes in the speed zone, a notable supporting stat for such a short effort. In an evening 5K festival built around fast closed roads through Canary Wharf, this was a quick burst of speed. For future attempts, maintaining that speed over a longer measured section would be a useful next step.
