Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Niraj Sharma #6403 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick work over a short distance with strong relative placing Niraj covered 0.30 km in 1:43, averaging 5:50/km. That put him 2307th of 5624 overall, 1366th among men, and 256th in the M3135 division. On a very short effort like this, the most useful stat is the pace conversion: 9:23/mile equates to a solid 5:50/km. This was part of the Canary Wharf evening format, where the run sits inside a social, closed-road city event. For coaching purposes, the key takeaway is efficiency over a brief segment: he moved well and sat in the top 41% overall. If he wants to build on this, the next step would be extending that pace across a longer measured distance to benchmark endurance as well as speed.
