Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ben Atwell #6211 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fastest pace in a short effort with strong category standing Ben covered 0.30 km in 1:04, averaging 3:39/km. He passed 16 runners in the On Speed Zone and placed 16th in the Male 2630 category, 55th among men, and 156th overall out of 5,624 participants. For a very short segment, that pace stands out well. This was part of the Run The Wharf evening format through Canary Wharf, where speed is folded into a social race atmosphere. The key stat here is efficiency over a brief distance: 0.30 km at 3:39/km. If he wants to move further up the standings next time, a small gain in acceleration over the opening stretch could make a noticeable difference in a segment this short.
