Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Oscar Zhou Chen #6368 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive Start and Strong Relative Finish Oscar covered 0.30 km in 1:22, averaging 4:37 min/km. He passed 40 runners over the segment, a useful indicator of strong acceleration and good positioning through a very short effort. Against 5,624 participants, he placed 818th overall, 526th among men, and 109th in the mens 1825 division. This was part of Run The Wharfs fast evening city-running format through Canary Wharf. For a short speed-based segment, the standout stat is the 40 places gained while holding sub-4:40 min/km pace. To sharpen this type of effort further, he could focus on sustaining that speed for a slightly longer distance and continuing to build efficiency at high intensity.
