Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Bliss Mason #6193 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Front-of-pack speed over a short effort Bliss covered 0.30 km in 1:07, averaging 3:48/km. She passed 12 runners during the effort, a useful stat that suggests she kept moving forward rather than fading late. In a field of 5,624, she placed 11th female and 4th in the female 2630 division, which stands out strongly for this format. This was part of the Friday Night Lights Canary Wharf event, known for its fast closed-road city running. For future efforts at this distance, the main focus is simply sharpening acceleration and holding top speed a fraction longer, as the current pace and placing already show very competitive speed.
