Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ashley Benton #6257 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with strong relative placing Ashley covered 0.30 km in 1:22, averaging 4:37/km. He placed 812th of 5,624 overall, 521st among men, and 154th in the mens 2630 division. He also logged 4 On Speed Zone passes, a notable stat given the very short effort. This was a brief, fast segment rather than a full race-distance run, so the most useful takeaway is speed efficiency: 1:22 for 300 metres at sub-4:40/km pace. In a fast evening event setting through Canary Wharf, that suggests good top-end pace. For future efforts, the main opportunity would be extending that speed over a longer distance while keeping the pace controlled.
