Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Tania Badalica #6300 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast opening pace and a strong age-group result Tania covered 0.30 km in 1:47, averaging 6:03/km. She placed 102nd in the female 3640 category, 900th among women, and 2552nd overall out of 5624 participants. That puts her ahead of roughly 55% of the field overall. This was part of the Canary Wharf Friday Night Lights atmosphere, where the short closed-road effort rewards quick acceleration and efficiency. Over a brief distance like this, the key stat is pace, and 6:03/km is a solid speed marker. For future efforts, a useful focus would be sustaining that pace over a longer segment to build strength beyond the opening burst.
