Quickest effort in a short speed-zone segment Liam covered 0.30 km in 1:01, averaging 3:28 min/km. He passed 33 runners in the segment, a strong gain over a very short distance. Against 5,624 participants, he placed 96th overall, 20th among men, and 9th in the mens 2630 division. That combination of 3:28 min/km speed and top-100 overall placing stands out, especially in a fast evening race through Canary Wharf. From a coaching view, this was an efficient, aggressive segment. The key next step is simply extending that level of speed across a longer distance while keeping the same control.
