Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Henry Hart #5089 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive Early Pace Over a Very Short Effort Henry covered 0.30 km in 53 seconds at an average pace of 3:01/km. He placed 24th overall out of 5,624 starters, 20th in the Male Elite field, and 9th in the Male Elite 2630 division. On raw speed, that is the standout stat: a sub-3:05/km effort across this short segment. This was the On Speed Zone within Run The Wharf, the Canary Wharf closed-road 5K known for its fast evening atmosphere. The performance was sharp and well above the broader field. Because the measured distance was only 0.30 km, the key focus is acceleration and top-end speed rather than sustained pacing. A useful next step would be carrying this speed across a longer section of 1 km or more.
