Consistent Pace Makes for a Strong Race Victor Morales showed an impressive performance at the 2026 Surf City 10 in the 10 Miler event. With an overall time of 1:12:57, Victor maintained a steady pace, averaging 7:17 min/mile. Notably, his first mile split was his fastest at 6:47, while the subsequent miles were kept consistently under 7:32 min/mile until the final stretch. This level of consistency reflects strategic pacing and endurance. In terms of placement, Victor finished 40th in his division of M 35-39. His race strategy led to an improvement from 30th in the division after the second mile, to a peak position of 22nd by the third mile. Although he experienced some fluctuation in placement during the race, his ability to recover is commendable. Victor's efforts contributed to the collective spirit of team AVRWF, and his performance serves as a solid foundation for future races.
