Steady Improvement and Strong Finish on the 10K Course Silvia Acosta from Chino, CA, demonstrated a consistent and improving performance at the 2026 Surf City 10 event. Over the 10K course, her pacing improved notably after the first split, moving from a pace of 17:58 min/mile in the initial mile down to 16:04 min/mile by mile three. Her strongest segment was the second mile with a split pace of 14:26 min/mile, showing excellent potential in that section of the race. Silvia finished with a total elapsed time of 1:41:27, achieving an overall event position of 2208 out of 2818 participants. Notably, she excelled in the female division aged 50-54, where she placed 66th, demonstrating her competitive spirit in her age group.
