Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Jasmine Oliver from Chula Vista, CA, completed the 2026 Surf City 10 Miler with an impressive time of 1:57:20. Her pacing strategy was consistent throughout the race, starting with an 11:20 min/mile pace for the first mile and maintaining a strong pace between 11:14 and 11:24 min/mile for most of the race. Notably, she achieved her fastest pace at mile 4 with 11:04 min/mile, demonstrating the ability to push the pace when needed, rising up the ranks significantly between miles 4 and 5. Towards the end of the race, Jasmine finished strong, managing to maintain composure despite a slight slowdown in the final two miles. Placing 246th in her F 30-34 division out of 4391 participants, she demonstrated solid race dynamics. Encouragingly, Jasmines mid-race splits around miles 3 to 5 highlight an area of strength in her overall race strategy.
