Consistent Improvement and Determination Shine! Jed Villareal from Anaheim, CA, showcased impressive progress throughout the 2026 Surf City 10. Over a 10K distance, Jed strategically improved her pace from an initial 30:25 min/mile in the first mile to 15:10 min/mile by the final stretch. She completed the race with a strong overall time of 1:32:54, maintaining a consistent average pace of 14:59 min/mile. Her determination is evident as she steadily climbed in her division from 201st at the first mile to 205th by the third, ultimately finishing 205th in the F 35-39 division. Despite competing against 2818 participants, Jeds steady improvement was noticeable, especially in her final split, which marked her fastest pace at 9:29.
