Strong Finish with Consistent Improvement Jarred Romey demonstrated significant progress throughout the Surf City 10 with a completion time of 1:34:27 for the 10K distance. Starting with a pace of 30:28 min/mile, Jarred made great strides, ending with a consistent pace of 15:23 min/mile. Participation in a field of 2818, she concluded with an overall position in 2102nd place, while finishing 1204th in gender and 208th in her division (F 35-39). Her most notable achievement was her ability to maintain and improve pacing throughout the race, with her fastest mile split occurring between the 4th and 5th miles at 10:00 min/mile. Jarred's overall time highlights her strong stamina and ability to push forward, even improving her placement across the gender and division categories, such as rising to 974th place by the fourth mile split.
