Strong Finish with Progressive Pacing Kimberly Tsui showed impressive improvement in pacing during the 2026 Surf City 10. Starting with a split pace of 17:50 min/mile, she steadily increased her speed, clocking in a swift 8:25 min/mile by the third mile. Her ability to progressively improve her pace reflects strong endurance and strategy. Her overall race pace was 12:09 min/mile, completing the 5K in 37:40. Notably, Kimberly's split between the first and second mile showed significant gains as she moved from 1412th to 523rd overall, and from 103rd to 40th in her division (F 25-29). Representing the Lombardy Running Club, she demonstrated significant competitive spirit by finishing in the top third of the field in both her division and overall, with room to capitalize on starting speed in future races.
