Starting with a 18:33-minute mile, he showed determination by progressively increasing his pace throughout. Remarkably, by mile 5, David improved to an 8:28-minute mile, further dropping to an 8:02-minute mile by mile 10. His overall pace was 10:12 minutes per mile for the 10 miles. David's impressive progression through the race was highlighted by his placement improvement. Advancing from 3194th to 1614th overall, and climbing from 1555th to 1038th in his gender category, he stood out in his divisionfinishing 230th among men aged 30-34.
