Consistent Performance Leads to Impressive Finish Jaden Lee completed the 2026 Surf City 10 with a consistent performance, finishing the 10-miler in a time of 1:18:45 at a strong pace of 7:52 min/mile. Throughout the race, Jaden demonstrated controlled pacing with strategic bursts of speed, notably during the latter half, where his last two miles were completed at an impressive 7:31 and 7:28 min/mile, respectively. This smart pacing resulted in a steady climb in placements, moving from 618th overall at the first mile to 406th by the finish among 4,391 participants. Within the Male 40-44 division, Jaden advanced consistently, ending in 37th place. His strategic increase in pace after the third mile shows strong endurance capabilities. For future races, maintaining this positive pacing strategy could further enhance placement, especially focusing on the form during tighter races.
