Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Thomas Dialynas of Newport Coast, CA, delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Surf City 10, completing the 10-mile race with an elapsed time of 51:43 and an impressive average pace of 5:10 per mile. Dialynas maintained a remarkably stable pace throughout, kicking off with a mile split of 5:02 and maintaining strong mile times as he progressed. He especially picked up speed with a fast final mile split of 5:01. Throughout the race, Thomas showcased strong competitiveness, particularly excelling in the male 35-39 division, where he finished 1st. He also secured the 5th place overall and in his gender among 4,391 participants. His performance remained steady as he climbed the overall rankings, notably moving from 26th place in the first mile to finishing in the top 5 by the end.
