Anthony Cassidy impressively represented South Coast Roadrunners at the 2026 Surf City 10, securing the top spot in the M 50-54 division with a final time of 40:14. His pace hovered at 6:29 min/mile over the 10K, which placed him 34th overall and 30th among male competitors out of 2,818 participants. His performance was characterized by strong initial splits, particularly notable in the first mile with a 6:34 pace and maintaining division leadership. A challenging third split saw a significant decrease in pace, clocking 10:33 on the mile. However, Anthony swiftly regained momentum with a 4:01 fourth split, his fastest, demonstrating resilience and strategic pacing.
