Consistent Progression in Surf City 10 Daniel Caban, from Victorville, CA, displayed a commendable performance in the 2026 Surf City 10. Starting with a pace of 20:06 min/mile at the first mile, Daniel significantly increased his pace over the next six miles. Particularly impressive was his steady improvement, notably dropping his split pace to 14:49 min/mile by the fourth mile. As part of Team We Rise, Daniel completed the 10K race in 1:38:14 with an average pace of 15:50 min/mile. He maintained a strong presence, finishing 17th in the M 15-19 division out of 2818 total participants.
