Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Jill Jordan ran the 2026 Surf City 10 with a strong start. She began the 10K race holding a steady pace, clocking in her first mile at 9:02 min/mile and finishing it in 9:02. She maintained her momentum into the second mile with a slight variation, completing it in 9:07. Consistency marked her early performance as she placed 87th in gender and 18th in her division at this point. However, the third mile posed a challenge, with splits slowing to 14:34 min/mile. Despite this, Jill showed remarkable resilience, significantly picking up her pace in the fourth mile to 4:37 min/mile, which was her fastest split.
