Consistent Effort and Strong Finish Sintia Kawasaki-Yee from Visalia, CA, displayed a steady pace throughout the 2026 Surf City 10K. Her splits began with a solid 11:37-minute mile, maintaining consistency with an end result of a 12:37-minute average pace over the 6.2-mile distance. Her first half saw an admirable shift in positioning, climbing from 1231st to 982nd overall by the third mile while showing determination in her age division. Ending with an elapsed time of 1:18:14, Sintia finished 847th among female participants and 147th in her F 35-39 division. Notably, Sintia's performance in the first three miles, especially her progress from 113th to 95th place in her division, demonstrates excellent mid-race strategies. She represented the Chingonas Run Club proudly, showing promise with maintaining a pace that reflects her potential for future races.
