Consistent Improvement with a Strong Finish Floragrace Surell from Irvine, CA, demonstrated remarkable consistency in the 2026 Surf City 10, a 10K running event. Beginning with a steady pace of 12:42 min/mile, she maintained a consistent performance in her first two miles. A notable challenge arose in the third mile with a split pace of 22:11, which affected her standings temporarily. However, Floragrace impressively bounced back with a stellar performance in the fourth mile, recording her fastest split of 7:12. Floragrace's overall performance culminated in an official time of 1:24:29, which placed her 172nd in the Female 35-39 division out of numerous participants. Representing her team, Halo Halo, she demonstrated commendable persistence, especially in rebounding from that challenging third mile.
