Consistent Effort at Surf City 10 Brenda Alpizar displayed a consistent performance at the 2026 Surf City 10 Miler, completing the race with a steady overall pace of 10:48 min/mile. Although there was a gradual slowdown throughout, her splits highlighted a strong start with the initial mile clocked at 9:34 min/mile. The final push yielded a respectable total time of 1:48:06. Competing in the F 35-39 division, she maintained her position well, finishing 139th out of a significant number of participants. Throughout the race, Brenda demonstrated admirable perseverance. Her dedication to maintaining consistency was evident across all splits, despite some fluctuations. Notably, mile 3 had the slowest split pace at 11:03 min/mile. Continuing to participate with the EXCEED THE LIMIT Run Club, Brenda can focus slightly on maintaining earlier mile averages in future races to improve her time consistency.
