Sosimo Finds His Rhythm Sosimo Melchor displayed impressive pacing improvement during the 2026 Surf City 10, a 10 miler in which he ended with a time of 1:38:50. Beginning with an 11:11 minute/mile in the first mile, Sosimo gained momentum and reduced his pace steadily, culminating in a final overall pace of 9:53 minute/mile. In the latter half, notably at mile 6, he achieved his fastest mile split of 8:49 minute/mile, contributing to his strong finish. Overall, Sosimo placed 1,417th out of 4,391 participants, ranking 930th among male runners and 127th in the M 40-44 category. His performance exhibited a solid strategy, moving from 2,311th place overall to a final position much higher.
