Impressive Speed and Strategic Finish Richie Cloutman had a stellar performance in the 2026 Surf City 10 5K. He showed an outstanding start with a blazing first mile at a 4:44 min/mile pace, securing 3rd position overall. Its impressive how he maintained a competitive edge early on. Despite slowing to a 6:54 min/mile in the second mile, Richie still clinched first in his division, M 15-19. Throughout the race, Richie's strategic approach allowed him to finish strong. His final mile was at an 8:17 min/mile pace, ending with an overall time of 20:43 and an average pace of 6:41 min/mile. Among 2,148 participants, Richie secured 32nd overall and 29th in his gender, with an admirable 2nd place in his division. Encouragingly, focusing on maintaining a consistent pace could enhance his finishing speed in future races. Great job representing Ainsley's Angels and showcasing determination!
