Notably, Colin kicked off the race with an outstanding pace of 4:54 min/mile for the first mile, temporarily securing a leading position. This rapid start saw Colin holding the top spot in the M 14 & Under division early on. During the race, Colin maintained a consistent overall pace of 7:04 min/mile. While the pace slowed in later miles, Colin still secured 2nd place in his division. Continuing to improve stamina and pacing for the middle sections could further enhance results. With a finish that places him in the top 2% of total participants and impressive division rankings, Colin's performance in the event was remarkable, showing potential for future success.
