Consistent Progression and Strong Finish! Nicholas Jung from West Covina, CA, delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Surf City 10. Starting strong, Nicholas opened with a swift 8:29 pace for the first mile. Although the second mile saw a slower pace of 14:23, he quickly adjusted and found his rhythm. By the third mile, he was pacing back to a more consistent 8:30 min/mile. Nicholas demonstrated remarkable improvement as the race progressed. A highlight was his final mile, clocking in at an outstanding 7:36, marking his fastest pace of the event. His overall time of 1:28:30 secured him 832nd place out of 4,391 participants.
