Consistent Excellence Leads to Top Finishes Alyssa Armendariz-Hoeller delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Surf City 10, maintaining a consistent pace of 6:15 minutes per mile over the 10-mile race. Starting strong with a first mile at 6:11, she exhibited consistency as each mile elapsed with minimal variation in pace. Alyssa managed a notable acceleration in the final mile, clocking in at 6:05, which secured her an excellent 3rd place finish in her division. Throughout the race, Alyssa continued to climb the ranks, moving from her initial position of 122nd overall to finish 68th. Her overall performance saw her placing 9th among female participants, out of a total field of 4391 runners. As part of the Performance Elite Running team, her work is indicative of her status as an elite athlete, showcasing both endurance and precision.
