Consistent Start, Determined Finish Brooke started off with a strong first mile at a 5:42 pace, placing 2nd in her division and 16th among female participants. As the miles continued, there was a gradual pace adjustment, finishing with an overall time of 1:42:35 for the 10-mile race. Her average pace was 10:15 per mile, placing her 33rd in the Female 20-24 division. Throughout the race, Brooke maintained a consistent effort, particularly between miles 3 to 6 with split paces around the 10:17 mark. Despite slowing in the latter miles, she displayed perseverance, completing the race as the 594th female overall out of 2,583 participants. Her participation as part of the team Ainsley's Angels added to the camaraderie of the event. Continued focus on endurance in later miles may yield performance gains in similar future races.
