Impressive Consistency and Divisional Win with an Incredible Performance Azahel Caballero showcased remarkable consistency and strength at the 2026 Surf City 10 with an overall time of 18:41 for the 5K event. With a brisk pace of 6:01 minutes per mile, Azahel displayed a strong start, maintaining a swift 5:21 min/mile for the first and second miles, highlighting a formidable early race strategy. It's notable that he clinched first place in the Male 14 & Under division, further emphasizing his exceptional abilities despite his young age of just 7. The race stats reveal opportunities for growth. While sustaining a swift pace in the first two splits, the third mile saw a shift to 7:15 min/mile. Encouragingly, Azahel still secured the top position in his division and placed 11th among 2148 participants.
