Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Jake Morales had an impressive showing at the 2026 Surf City 10 with an overall time of 1:07:12, maintaining a consistent average pace of 10:50 min/mile. Starting steadily, his pace ranged between 10:26 to 10:28 min/mile in the first two miles. He faced a challenge in the third mile but showed resilience with strong recovery in the subsequent splits, including an impressive fourth mile pace of 7:21 min/mile. Throughout the 10K event, Jake's consistent effort positioned him at 923rd overall out of 2818 participants and 527th in his gender category, securing 112th place in his division (M 35-39). His performance remained steady, finishing strongly as a part of Team "Chafing Our Dreams."
