Consistent Pace in Every Mile Andrew Kwan delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Surf City 10 with an overall time of 46:22. He consistently maintained a pace around 7:30 min/mile, achieving a final average pace of 7:28 min/mile. Notably, Andrew's fastest mile was the fourth, completed in 7:16. Starting with a time of 7:30 for the first mile, Andrew displayed consistent pacing, maintaining an overall strong pace and moving up in placement during the race. Competing in the Male 30-34 division, Andrew placed 19th, and finished 70th in the Male category. He finished 90th overall among 2818 participants. Andrew's ability to push through and regain positions in the third mile was one of the initial highlights. Part of the Lombardy Running Club, Andrew's steady pacing and progress through the field demonstrate top-notch race management and positional awareness. Keeping up the good work and focusing on maintaining this consistency will be key to his future races.
