Steady Climb to a Podium Finish Henry McClish delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Surf City 10, completing the 10-miler in 52:22 with an average pace of 5:14 min/mile. Beginning in 40th overall, Henry rapidly improved his position by the second mile, securing 17th overall. By the third mile, he firmly held 8th place, where he remarkably maintained his standing for the majority of the race. Notably, his fastest split was the third mile at 5:09 min/mile. Part of the "SoCal Elite" team, Henry stood out in his division, finishing 3rd in the M 25-29 group. His steady pace and consistent performance across each mile demonstrate strong endurance and strategy. Despite slight variations in split times, Henry showcased his ability to remain focused, especially from mile seven onwards, where he consistently maintained 7th position for several miles.
