Consistent Speed and Strong Finish in the 10K Justin Silva maintained an impressive pace throughout the 2026 Surf City 10. With a consistent start, he clocked the first two miles at a steady 6:13 and 6:14 min/mile. Notably, his performance intensified in the latter part of the race with a steady improvement in pace, culminating in a final mile split of 5:52 min/mile. This strong finish in the 10K allowed him to secure 3rd place in the M 35-39 division. Overall, Justin clocked a 37:43 finish time with an average pace of 6:05 min/mile, placing 20th overall out of 2818 participants. His ability to progressively speed up throughout the race demonstrates excellent pacing strategy and endurance. Being part of the SoCal Triathlon Team, his refined technique and strategy showcase both personal dedication and team support. Well done on a great race, Justin!
