Consistent Pace and Strong Division Finish Shawn Abriel from Hacienda Heights, CA, competed in the 2026 Surf City 10 10K event, completing the race in 1:07:56 with an average pace of 10:57 min/mile. Notably, Shawn maintained a consistent pace, starting the race with a 10:06 min/mile for the first mile and keeping the pace under 11:15 min/mile throughout the race. Her performance positioned her 32nd in the F 45-49 division out of a large field of competitors. Splits showed a disciplined effort, with her best split coming in at 10:06 during the first mile.
