Consistent Pace Achieved During the Surf City 10 Liz Ghandakly from Santa Monica, CA, participated in the 2026 Surf City 10, showcasing a consistently strong performance in the 5K event. Running as part of the ACHD Runners team, Liz started the race with a steady 10:33 pace in the first mile, covering it in 10:33. She then maintained a consistent rhythm, finishing mile two at a 10:45 pace and closing the final mile with a time of 11:21. Liz's overall race pace was 10:52 min/mile, just above her split recorded at mile three, indicating a solid finish. In the female 40-44 division, she improved her standing from 19th to 15th in the first two miles before finishing 24th.
