Rapid Pace Improvements Led to Strong Finish Melissa Sierra from Hemet, CA, displayed remarkable pacing in the 2026 Surf City 10 5K. However, she showed impressive speed in the second mile, dramatically improving her split pace to 7:44 min/mile, jumping to 117th overall.
