Consistent Persistence Leads to Strong Finish Anuja Vij delivered a solid performance at the 2026 Surf City 10, with consistent pacing throughout the 10K event. Anuja maintained a steady pace, ranging from 12:58 to 15:27 min/mile. This consistency was key in achieving an overall time of 1:28:05, with an average pace of 14:12 min/mile. Notably, between miles 4 to 6, she demonstrated admirable steadiness, holding a uniform pace of 14:12 min/mile, which highlights her ability to maintain strength in the middle and later stages of the race. In terms of positioning, Anuja finished 92nd in the F 45-49 division, out of a competitive field. She started strong, initially placing 80th in her division, and successfully improved her standing to 65th by the 3-mile mark. As a member of the South Coast Roadrunners, her performance demonstrated admirable tenacity.
