Progressive Performance Throughout the Race Darshan Baldev demonstrated consistent pacing at the 2026 Surf City 10, finishing a 5K in 39:51. With an overall pace of 12:51 min/mile, Darshan showcased a steady performance, slight variations in each mile. Starting strong with a first-mile pace of 12:25, he settled into a 13:09 min/mile pace by the second mile, before clocking a 13:05 for the final mile. Notably, Darshan's placement in the Male 45-49 division improved from 29th in the first mile to 26th by the second mile. He represented the South Coast Roadrunners with determination and resilience. While overall placement was 959 out of 2148 participants, there's a clear area to capitalize on pacing consistency between the first mile and subsequent ones to improve future finishes.
