Strong Finish with Impressive Mid-Race Surge Jenny Barahona from Colton, CA, delivered an excellent performance at the 2026 Surf City 10 5K event. She completed the 3.1-mile course in 39:06, averaging a pace of 12:37 min/mile. The highlight was her surge between the 1-mile and 2-mile mark, clocking a remarkable split of 12:05 min/mile for that segment. This speedy mid-race effort significantly improved her overall standing, elevating her from 1501st to 919th place overall. Jenny's steady improvement was also reflected in her division, as she moved from 150th to 84th place in the Female 35-39 category.
