Consistent Bike Power and a Strong Finishing Kick Drive a Top-70 Finish Joshua Womack continued his strong run at Spudman, crossing the line in 2:29:58 to finish 67th overall out of 1,987 athletes and 15th in the Elite Mens division. This marks his fifth consecutive appearance at the race, and while his time was a touch off his 2025 personal best of 2:21:53, his overall placement remained solid within a much larger field, reflecting continued competitiveness year over year. The bike leg stood out as a highlight, with Joshua averaging roughly 21 mph across the course and steadily climbing through the field, moving from 308th to 65th by the bikes end. His run also showed strong progression, negative-splitting from an 8:46 opening mile down to a 6:45 pace late in the leg, capped off with a strong final sprint. These gains offset a swim split that trailed the front pack, suggesting an opportunity to build more separation early in future races.
