Steady Bike Power Fuels a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Kelly completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:25:27, anchored by a strong bike leg where she averaged roughly 15.2 mph over the 24.4-mile course. Her swim split of 24:17 made efficient use of the Snake River's current, and she moved through T1 in a brisk 5:41. The run settled into a consistent rhythm near 12:1012:25 per mile for most of the course, showing good pacing control across the final miles despite some natural fatigue late in the run. Compared to her 2025 Spudman performance (3:17:47), this year's result came in about 7:40 slower, suggesting there's room to sharpen overall pacing, particularly on the run where most of the time difference likely accumulated. The bike leg remains a clear strength to build around, and tightening transition timesespecially T2 at 3:20could shave a bit more off the clock in future races.
