Steady Pacing Fuels a Strong Olympic-Distance Finish Weston Stuart completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:45:49, placing 245th overall out of 1,987 finishers and 18th in the competitive 19-24 age group. After a solid swim leg, Weston transitioned quickly into the bike course, where he maintained a strong average speed of roughly 17.3 mph across the 24.4-mile ride a key strength in his race that helped him move up through the field. Coming off the bike, Weston maintained a consistent effort on the run, holding paces in the 7:308:10 min/mile range across the final miles. This steady approach allowed him to close strong, climbing from 358th at the mile 24 mark to a final overall placement of 245th. For future races, refining T1/T2 efficiency could shave a bit more off his overall time, but his ability to hold pace deep into the run is a great foundation to build on.
