Steady Gains Across Every Leg Christina Branson turned in a strong sprint-triathlon performance, finishing in 2:14:19 a 5:29 improvement over her previous year's result. She climbed from 367th to 343rd overall and moved up six spots in her competitive women's 50-59 division, finishing 14th. Her bike leg stood out, covering just over 11 miles at a solid 13.1 mph average, showing consistent power on two wheels. Her swim and transitions were efficient, with T1 in just 3:45, helping her carry momentum into the bike course. The run proved a bit more demanding, with pacing gradually settling into the mid-to-high teens per mile over the back half. Overall, this was a well-rounded, improved effort from last year, with the bike split as the clear highlight and an opportunity to build more consistent run pacing in future races.
