Swift Swim Sets the Tone for a Determined Sprint Effort Henley Zaugg opened her Spudman Sprint Triathlon with an excellent swim, splitting 17:37 to sit 103rd overall and 14th in her 1-19 age division a real highlight of the day. That strong water start showed real promise, and continuing to build on that swim fitness should pay dividends in future races. The transition into the bike course cost some ground, and by the time she hit the bike course, Henley had settled into a steady rhythm, averaging roughly 13.1 mph over the ride. Her run leg followed at a consistent pace, helping her cross the line in 2:08:04, good for 152nd among female finishers and 32nd in her division. With a strong swim base already in place, tightening up transition times could be a great focus for shaving minutes off future results.
