Fast Swim Start Fuels a Steady Sprint Finish Alex Junge opened her 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon with a standout swim, clocking 17:01 for the 0.61-mile downstream leg good for 32nd among all women and 7th in her 20-29 division, a strong early signal for the race ahead. A brisk 3:08 T1 kept her transition efficient before heading out onto the bike course. On the 12.45-mile bike leg, Alex averaged roughly 15.1 mph, finishing in 49:30. This leg saw her drop slightly in the field relative to her swim, settling in around 40th among women by T2. She closed with a 3.11-mile run in 31:03, holding a consistent pace in the 9:50-10:30/mile range.
