Steady Bike Power Drives a Solid Olympic Finish Dylan Rhodes crossed the finish line at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:03:22, placing 73rd in the competitive 30-34 age group. His bike leg stood out, averaging nearly 16.9 mph over the course, highlighted by a strong mid-ride push where he covered 5.6 miles in just under 18 minutes his fastest sustained pace of the day and good enough for 29th in his division at that point. Transitions were efficient, with T2 clocking in at just 3:24. This years result sits between his past two Spudman performances faster than his 2024 finish of 3:06:02, but a touch behind his personal best of 3:00:12 in 2025. The run leg showed some fade over the final miles, suggesting continued endurance work could help him close that small gap and challenge his 2025 pace next season.
