Strong Bike Leg Fuels Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Nate Kofford turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, highlighted by a standout bike leg. Averaging roughly 20.8 mph over the 24.39-mile ride, he moved up significantly in the standings, climbing to 255th overall and 220th among men after a mid-pack swim. That cycling strength built a solid foundation for the rest of the race. The run and transitions were steady, though not quite as sharp as the bike split, with his overall position settling at 416th out of 1,987 finishers and 348th among men. Nate finished 16th in the Non-Competitive division. Given the bike performance, dialing in transition efficiency and run pacing could be valuable focus areas for future races to fully capitalize on his cycling strength.
