A Steady Finish Marked by Slower Splits Than Past Efforts Michael Jensen crossed the line in 3:55:36, good for 1282nd overall and 931st among men. His bike leg stood out as the strongest segment, averaging roughly 14 mph over the course, showing solid strength on two wheels. The run, covering just over six miles, settled into a steady rhythm but trailed his bike pace by a wide margin, suggesting fatigue carried over from the bike-to-run transition. Compared to his last two Spudman appearances2:41:50 in 2023 and a personal-best 2:27:34 in 2025this years result was considerably slower. Both transitions also lengthened, with T1 at 6:59 and T2 at 10:37, likely contributing extra minutes to the overall time. Tightening these transition windows and working on maintaining bike-to-run speed could help Michael return closer to his 2025 form in future races.
